Change Betta 3000 Skin

Lock in the Locking Mechanism
1. Press the small metal locking mechanism to lock the spring into place. The fabric should move freely and there should be no spring tension.
Remove the Awning from the Channels
2. Rotate the top tube and pull upwards to remove the Awning from the channels. Hold the bottom rail in your other hand so that it doesn't lock itself accidentally.
Drill Out the Rivets
3. Drill out the rivets that are located in the bottom rail.
Remove the Bottom Rail Screw
4. Use a drill to remove the bottom rail screw. This will allow the bottom rail to be removed from the fabric.
5. Slide the bottom rail off to remove it from the fabric skin.
Roll the Fabric Up
6. After removing the bottom rail roll the fabric up from the bottom to expose the top tube.
Remove Rivets
7. Use a drill to drill out the rivets that secure the fabric and end cap to the tube. You will need to remove the rivets that secure the fabric on the left and right sides of the tube.
Remove End Cap
8. Use a flat head screw driver to remove one of the end caps.
Remove Fabric
9. Slide the fabric out of the tube.
Replace the Fabric
10. Add the new fabric back into the tube channel.
11. With the new fabric now inserted replace the end cap into the tube.
11. With the new fabric now inserted replace the end cap into the tube.
Apply New Rivets
12. Replace the rivets to secure the fabric and end cap to the tube.
Roll the Fabric Up
13. Roll the fabric up onto the tube.
Add the Bottom Rail
14. Add the bottom rail onto the new fabric by sliding the fabric into the corresponding channel.
Add the Bottom Rail End Cap
15. Add the bottom rail end cap to the bottom rail and apply the rivets to hold it in place.
16. To finish the install use a drill to screw in the screw that secures the bottom spline to the bottom rail.
