Permanent roofing structures are great but not always the best option for creating shade in outdoor spaces around the home or business. In winter internal natural light may be severely reduced, causing living spaces to be excessively cold and dark and feel enclosed. Or, it may not be possible to install a permanent shading structure due to council by-laws and border proximities.
Folding Arm Awnings are the perfect solution! Simply extend the awning as desired and retract to be virtually completely out of sight when not required. Create shade in summer and light and warmth in winter. As the folding arm system is fully retractable they can be installed in closer proximity to property borders where permanent structures are not permissible.
The range of folding arm awnings from Rollease Acmeda comprises classic style open and contemporary enclosed cassette solutions. The award winning European designed awnings feature the innovative DAT folding arm torsion mechanism, combining a distinctive design, high quality components and Teflon coating for marine grade protection to deliver outstanding mechanical performance.
Folding Arm Awnings can be mounted on walls or ceilings, with options for either a hood, semi-cassette or full cassette installation.

Class 2 wind resistance according to European standard EN 13561. Certified Italian Stainless steel screws and pins.
Wall and ceiling installation. Continuous micrometric regulation of inclination. Inclination between 3° and 90°. FUSION arms with DATSystem. Maximum size of a single section: 500 x 309cm. Manually operated or motorised.
YUKI features the Fusion Arm with a tensioned, spring loaded, double stainless steel cable, PVC coated for added protection against corrosion. The Dynamic Arm Torsion system is specifically designed to prevent fabric damage and sagging by maintaining constant tension.
