How to Install a Link Code 5 Builders Range Roller Blind

What is a Link Code 5?
A Link Code 5 creates a link between three Roller Blinds that features chain drives on both sides of the window. In a code 5 the middle blind and the left blind operate together with the same chain drive. The right blind operates independently using the right control.

Retract the Female Pin
Start by installing the left hand blind.
1. Rotate the clear plastic part to retract the female pin on the linking drive

Install the Left Blind
2. Install the blind by inserting the chain drive end into the bracket.
3. Carefully press the linking end of the blind into the corresponding bracket. It has a channel that should guide the linking end easily into place.

Install the Middle Blind
4. Install the middle Blind by pushing the right end into the bracket.
5. Insert the left side of the middle blind into the bracket. Keep the Blind supported as it is not correctly linked to the left-hand Blind yet.

Link the Blinds
6. Rotate the clear plastic winder to engage the gears and link the Blinds.
7. Align the bottom rails by turning the clear plastic winder and moving the bottom rail to the correct position.

Install the Right Blind
9. Install the right blind by pushing the chain drive end into the brackets.
10. To finish installing push the idle end into the bracket until you hear it click into place.

Test
11. Test all of the Blinds to ensure that they all operate correctly.
