How to Change a Roller Blind Chain

Lift Plastic Tab
1. Using a flat head screwdriver carefully lift the plastic tab to allow the chain cover to be removed from the chain drive. Only lift the tab slightly. Lifting it too much may cause damage.
Losen Chain Cover and Remove Chain
2. Losen the chain cover and gently remove the chain. You can point the bracket end of the chain drive slightly upwards to prevent the components from slipping out.
Replace the Chain
3. Replace the chain starting from the front. You can pull down on the back end of the chain to easily set it into the grooves.
Clip in the Chain Cover
4. Use your thumb to put pressure on the bracket side of the chain cover until you hear it click into place. Test the chain drive before reinstalling.
